eConcordia and Concordia University are committed to ensuring the safety and security of Concordia students' digital assets, information, and identities. That is why we use multi-factor authentication (MFA).
MFA is a valuable tool that helps keep your personal information safe from unauthorized individuals by adding an extra layer of protection when you sign into your account. It combines multiple factors like an email, text message or verification code in addition to your password.
Setting-up MFA is straightforward and simply requires a personal mobile device or phone number to complete the process. You can choose to receive a verification code by text message, or you can use an authentication app. For more information on MFA and setting up MFA please visit https://www.concordia.ca/it/security/mfa-for-students.html#set-up-mfa
If you have questions regarding MFA, need assistance with MFA activation, or do not have access to the device where you usually receive the verification code, please contact Instructional and Information Technology Services (IITS) at help@concordia.ca.
